Thank you for visiting my website.

You may want to know a little bit about me, so here goes!

I am a Researcher, Trainer and Group-Counselor in POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, a fascinating area of research and intervention, and I specialise in Mindfulness.

I have a BA, MA, and a PhD in Education which I completed in 2004 at King’s College London, and an MSc in Positive Psychology.

I began my research career as a social psychologist in education. However, as  my career developed I was drawn to counseling, and trained as a group therapist, and began to combine research with group facilitation.

My interest in Positive Psychology developed while doing my PhD, which examined the relocation and cross-cultural experience of first and second generation immigrants, and explored the ways in which they  coped with the immigration challenges and cross cultural hurdles and how they developed and were enriched by this experience. Since then, Positive Psychology has become a passion of mine.

After my PhD I developed a series of relocation and cross-cultural training courses, and began to apply positive psychology interventions in these trainings. Over the years have had the honour and privilige to train hunderds of people – expatriates, immigrants, overseas students, and others, helping them prepare for their move abroad and for their cross-cultural journeys.

My interest in Positive Psychology, has altered my career direction, and today my research and training revolve around Positive Organisational Behaviour and in particular the Psychology of Change.  My niche as a positive psychology trainer is therefore:  Leadership and Change Management.

I am currently a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader of the Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology Msc Programme at the School of Psychology at UEL.

I feel very privileged to be able to do what I love:  to explore uncharted research territories, develop new ideas and generate useful knowledge, and – to write and train.

I am grateful to my students and clients for allowing me to participate in their journeys of transformation, and I am immensely honoured by their trust in me, and the permission they grant me to contribute and make a difference in their lives.

I believe that each and everyone of us is meant to do great things here on earth.
Each of us and all of us together are meant to make a difference, and make the world a better place.
We all have special capacities within us.
The question is – what do we chose to do with them?
Are we going to develop this potential and use our powers, or not.

My mission, and the aim of my research and training programmes,

is to help us play full out the most important game we have – the game of our lives.

I am here to help you make the most of your capabilities, strengths and resources,

and lead an optimal life and flourish.
